Difference Between an RDA and an Atomizer

Pros of a Rebuild-able Drip Atomizer (RDA)

Within the vaping community, an RDA is known for producing the most pure, and best tasting flavor. “Cloud Chasers” or people wanting to blow the biggest, thickest clouds favor RDAs over anything else. The RDA’s coils are capable of exotic builds, adding extra coils, different size coils, etc.. for the most extreme clouds and flavors. If your wick (cotton) goes bad in an RDA, it is very easy replaceable by the average person. You are able to find the best build for your goal in vaping, whether it be cloud chasing, or trying to get the best flavor.

Cons of a Rebuild-able Drip Atomizer (RDA)

An RDA doesn’t have a tank for holding your e-Liquid, meaning you will have to drip your juice every couple hits. Rebuilding your coils isn’t easy, and may have to have to pay a professional to rebuild them for you. RDA’s tend to be a little more expensive overtime due to the original cost of the product. Also, when trying new builds to find your favorite build of coils, it can get quite expensive if you have a professional do it.

Pros of a Vape Atomizer

An atomizer’s are generally very cheap, and can last for upwards of three weeks. An atomizer is very easy to replace. You will be able to fill a tank of juice, compared to an RDA in which you are constantly dripping juice onto your coils and wick. For a lot of people, it is simply for convenient. Whilst your atomizer wick is good, and not burnt, your flavor will be very good.

Cons of a Vape Atomizer

Have maximums of how high of wattage it will allow you to vape at without burning it. Once your atomizer is primed with one juice, if you decide to use a new juice, it will taint the flavor of your new juice with hints of your old juice. Unfortunately, if you hit your mod at too high of a wattage for your atomizer, it will burn it in just one hit and ruin that atomizer.
